WILLIAM PATERSON'S McKAY NAMED ECAC WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

HYANNIS, MA--William Paterson University's Grace McKay has been named the ECAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for the week ending December 14.
McKay earned NJAC Women’s Swimming & Diving Swimmer of the Week honors for the same week after helping the Pioneers extend their dual-meet winning streak to nine victories with wins over Hunter and Division II Adelphi.
She opened the week by placing first in both the 50 and 100 freestyles with respective winning times of 25.97 and 1:01.78 during William Paterson’s 54-39 road win at Hunter.
Two days later, she placed first in both the 200 freestyle (2:03.51) and the 200 backstroke (2:18.01) during the Pioneers’ 124-99 win over Adelphi.
McKay also helped propel WPU to first place finishes in both the 200 medley relay (1:57.29) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:49.12) in the victory over Adelphi.
