TCNJ Earns Top Seed For NJAC Field Hockey Championship; Bracket Set

PITMAN, NJ --- The College of New Jersey completed a perfect 6-0 season in New Jersey Athletic Conference play, and has been awarded the top seed for the league's championship which begins on Wednesday, Nov. 4. 

Rowan (13-5, 5-1 NJAC) earned the No. 2 seed after going 5-1 in NJAC play, including a 1-0 regular season finale win at William Paterson to lock up the second spot.

Montclair State (15-4, 4-2 NJAC) grabbed the third seed and William Paterson (10-7, 3-3 NJAC) rounds out the four-team field.

The defending NJAC and national champion Lions will host WPU in one semifinal on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 PM. Rowan will host Montclair in the other semifinal at 7:00 PM.

The championship match is set for Saturday, Nov. 7, at the highest remaining seed.

The Lions have won 25 of the 32 all-time conference titles, but the Red Hawks have taken two of the last three.
