PATERSON--The Kean softball team recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, spending July 15 helping to construct a two-family home in Paterson as part of Women Build.  The 25 players and coaches assisted on the two-family home that has a handicap unit on the lower level. They also helped install the Styrofoam insulation for the Energy State Certified unit.

The Women Build project is part of a national effort for women volunteers to learn construction skills and build more than 250 homer across the United States, all while having fun while making a difference in their communities.
